Virtual Care Through Zoom

What is Virtual Care? Virtual Care is a telehealth program, providing telepsychiatry and teletherapy services to Florida residents. By providing a live, secure, video-based connection with our psychiatrists and therapists, telehealth ensures that appropriate help is always accessible.

How Do I Access It? Teletherapy is providing therapy through a live video connection. You get the same treatment as you would in person, it's just done through an app called Zoom, which you can launch here.

Why Virtual Care? This service makes it convenient by removing the need to travel to an office. It's great for busy professionals and parents who need to fit it into their busy schedules. You can receive a variety of therapy services including speech and language, counseling and therapy sessions and other treatment. It is the same quality care you would receive in person.

When Are Virtual Care Hours? Receive therapy on-the-go during business hours (8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday) from your tablet or smartphone. Self-pay & most insurances accepted excluding: BCBS, Medicare, Aetna and some Cignas.

How it Works

  • 1. Appointment Set Up

Once your appointment is scheduled, you will get a notice form us in the Patient Portal to complete your paperwork. If you're a new patient, you'll start with your Care Coordination appointment paperwork, have your initial intake appointment and then get scheduled with your provider from there. If you're an established patient, you will still get a request from us to complete paperwork.

  • 2. You'll Receive a Reminder

The morning of your virtual appointment with your Care Coordinator or Provider, you'll receive a text message or email reminder (depending upon what you have opted into) that your appointment is taking place that day, with a link to zoom along with the meeting ID and passcode.

The meeting ID is unique to each patient appointment. The passcode is always DNA. If you have an appointment and you already have your meeting ID and passcode, you can visit our Zoom page and enter the information here to sit in the virtual waiting room.

You can connect to Zoom for your telehealth/virtual appointment. Any new or existing Elite DNA Therapy Services client can use their smartphone, computer, or tablet device to get connected to their already established appointment. For details on what to expect for your first appointment, visit our New Patients page.

Services and treatment such as psychiatry and psychotherap generally begin within 7-14 days from the initial care coordination session.

We believe in providing accessible health care, and offering teletherapy services via Zoom helps us meet you right where you're at and provide the care you deserve.
