About Carla Leslie
I like to use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) because I want to help my clients become aware of how challenging situations affect their thoughts and how they can use a pragmatic approach to problem-solving in a more efficient way. Numerous research studies indicate that CBT leads to substantial improvements in functioning and quality of life. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be used to treat anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, and personality disorders. My treatment approach is goal-oriented, hands-on, and short-term. I use a collaborative method to help develop an understanding of problems while developing a treatment strategy.
